A teen boy of the name Joel goes away to camp for the summer in upstate California. When they are by the fire telling stories he tells a story his dad told him when he was young about the y2k killer, but the other campers tell Joel that the stories his dad told him are true and that he really did slaughter a cabin full of campers in the summer of 1984.

When Joel and his new friends from the camp go to explore the plains they come across wild boars that attack them, Parker (Joel’s friend) had a chunk of his leg bitten out by the boars, Joel and Aubrey (Parker and Joel’s friend) run back to camp only to find out that someone cut all phone lines.

A search party is sent out to find Parker and bring him medical aid, 2 of them fall into a pit of spikes that the y2k killer set out for them. The other people of the search party decide its way to dangerous to keep looking for Parker and head back to camp.

When the camp owner finds out 2 people of the staff team died, she decides to put the camp on lockdown and set up cameras and a perimeter fence around the property.

The camp owner gets an alert that the perimeter fence has been triggered and looks on the cameras to see what set it off, the assumption is that the y2k killer broke in and slaughtered another cabin full of campers.

A wild bear find the camp ground and trashes the whole place, and more campers die. Everyone is in a state of shock and has no idea what to do or how this could happen, the camp owner forms a group of her best staff and campers to go and find someone to find them help.

The new search group for help heads out into the woods to find help, this group consists of Joel, Savannah, Connie, Nancy, Tyler, Anthony, And Mady they have medical supplies, batteries, flair guns, knives, ect. They get pretty far into the woods and find an abandoned cabin and spend the night there.

The group doesn’t know how far they have walked yet but it feels like miles and miles, when it starts to get dark out they realize a hooded man has been following them, he rushes them and stabs Connie in her liver and grabs her intestines out and strings them across the tree branches.

The group is running from the killer and get split up into 2 groups. Group 1: Joel, Savannah, And Mady. Group 2: Tyler, Anthony, And Nancy. Group 1 finds a open field and shoots a flare off. They find what looks to be an abandoned stable with malnourished horses in it. They feed them and saddle them up, they now have something to get to civilization faster on.

Back at the camp the y2k killer kills everyone at the camp. The y2k killer also hunts down group 2 and kills Anthony and captures the rest of group 2 and brings them to his aesthetic y2k cabin.

The y2k killer has Tyler and Nancy in his y2k aesthetic dungeon. He forcefully cuts them with a y2k aesthetic knife and pours hello kitty glitter into their wounds. They get infected and die of infection.

The y2k killer hunts down group one and slits their horses throats. He stabs Mady and Savannah in their backs and Joel makes a run for it, after an of running Joel finds a road follows it to a nearby town. He is safe now.

Joel tells the police about everything that happened and they took the y2k killer into custody. They send a helicopter to all the death sites to get the bodies. There was a court trial and the y2k killer plead guilty and got life in prison.
