At the height of WWIII, one unknown country unleashes nuclear bombs on every major metropolitan area in the world. The only people who survived the nuclear blasts were witches with their protection spells.

After Crispy crawls out from the ground in her spell, she sees the city of Portland that she once knew was completely gone. She knows that this can't be it, and that other witches must've survived. So she decides she needs to go down to Salem, Oregon where her childhood witch school was and see is there are any live witches there.

Crispy begins venturing down to Salem. When she arrives she sees her childhood witch school in ruins. She tries to navigate it to see if there are any spell books left but everything was blown up.

Crispy uses her power of divination to read the book that was once there, telling her how to cast the spell of time travel. Unfortunately, only the most powerful of witches can perform the spell.

Crispy isn't powerful enough to time travel. But luckily she learned the power of resurgence from her mentor. Crispy used divination to locate where her old mentors body is so she can bring her back to life. Crispy gathers what she needs to perform the spell along the way.

Crispy uses telekinesis to lift the ruins off of her old mentor. She performs the resurgence ritual and brings her back to life. She explains to her what happened and how she neeps to help save the world. Her old mentor agrees. Crispys old mentor explains how time travel is one of the most complicated spells a witch can perform, there are only rumors of the spell even existing, and those that tried died.

Crispys mentor says that she needs to create a new spell, one that will ensure the safety of the coven and the world. Crispys mentor creates a spell, but says that not even she is powerful enough, but a covens sister can fade away, and power a new sister. Crispys old mentor kills herself and her power flows into Crispy. Crispy now performs the spell and travels back in time to before the bombs hit and stops the apocalypse.
